Crawford vs Khan : World Championship Boxing returns to Madison Square Garden on Saturday, April 20th as two of the sport’s biggest stars face off in the year’s most anticipated welterweight showdown when TERENCE “Bud” CRAWFORD puts his WBO Welterweight World Title on the line against the pride of Bolton, England, AMIR “King” KHAN.

Crawford (34-0, 25 KOs), from Omaha, Neb., is ranked by many experts as the world’s best fighter, a switch-hitting dynamo who has reigned supreme in three weight classes.  Crawford made history when he unified all four 140-pound titles in 2017 before moving up to Welterweight.  Crawford will be stepping into The Garden’s famed Boxing ring for the third time in his career.

Khan (33-4, 20 KOs) burst into the public consciousness at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens when, at 17 years of age, he captured a silver medal for Great Britain.  The lightning quick former unified 140-pound champion has won seven of his last eight bouts as he prepares to take on the pound-for-pound king in a legacy-defining superfight.

Before the main event, a pair of 21-year-old wunderkinds — Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson — will look to steal the show in their respective co-feature bouts.  Stevenson, the 2016 U.S. Olympic silver medalist, will tangle with former 130-pound world title challengerChristopher “Pitufo” Diaz in a 10-round featherweight bout. Lopez, the consensus 2018 Prospect of the Year and top lightweight contender, will face two-time European lightweight champion and former world title challenger Edis Tatli in a 10-rounder. Tatli is ranked No. 3 by the IBF and No. 10 by the WBC.

BT Sport Box Office is the only place to watch “King” Khan take on pound-for-pound great “Bud” Crawford for the WBO welterweight title on Saturday 20 April.

Amir Khan will look to become the only man to beat Terence Crawford when he steps in the ring with the unbeaten American this weekend.

The pair meet in New York on Saturday night with the American's WBO welterweight strap on the line.

After a year away from boxing and a profile-boosting appearance on hit ITV show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Khan returned to the ring with back-to-back wins over Phil Lo Greco and Samuel Vargas but faces a mammoth task when he takes on Crawford.

The current WBO holder is unbeaten after 34 professional fights, a three-weight world champion and is seen as one of the pound-for-pound greats of the sport.
